Women and the Roman Catholic Diaconate in the News

I don’t know that there’s anything particularly new or interesting here, but an Evanston, IL Roman Catholic parish is in the news for its discussion of the possibility of ordaining women to the permanent diaconate.  Such a possibility has not been formally closed by the Vatican.
